What does my child learn in Drama class?

Our students are exposed to:

  • Devising
  • Verse and Prose
  • Monologues
  • Improvisation

Our students have the opportunity to participate in theatre productions, festivals and options to take individual or group LAMDA exams. 

Can my child join during an existing term? 

New students are always welcome! Our friendly group of teachers and students look forward to welcome your child/children to join our Drama family.

Our programme caters to various learning styles and needs. Each module is carefully designed to be engaging and interactive, ensuring that our students remain motivated throughout their journey. 

When and where are your Drama lessons?

Our drama lessons coincide with the school term. Classes are every Tuesday at The Little Theatre, St Mark's Rd, Torquay TQ1 2EL.

The Junior programme (Primary School) is on from 5:00 to 6:00pm, while the Senior programme (Secondary School) is on from 6:30 to 8:00pm.

Are there any additional opportunities besides lessons?

Our students take part in at least one theatre production a year on the main stage. They are also entered in The Torbay Drama Festival. In addition to that, we work very closely with well known Talent Agencies.

Do you offer free trials?

Feeling nervous to sign up? No worries. We offer free a trial for new students.

What is LAMDA?

LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) is a world-renowned qualification in communication and performance. It inspires confident communicators through examinations in Drama, Literature and Poetry.  Students can take solo or group exams. For more information, visit their website

What is the fee like?

Our aim is to provide affordable lessons to the community. Here are our prices for our weekly sessions:

  • Junior Drama Class: £10 per lesson (60 minutes)
  • Senior Drama Class: £12.50 per lesson (90 minutes)


Fees are charged at the beginning of each school per term.
